Help Us Help Others on Visiting Day
The CIT boys and girls are organizing two community service projects for Visiting Day this year.
Due to our success from last year, we will continue to raise money for Art from the Heart. This is an organization created by Hannah Resnick, a junior girl at Tyler Hill. On Visiting Day we will be selling art projects that campers made in Arts and Crafts to raise money for Sunrise Day Camp, a camp for cancer patients and their siblings.
This year another Tyler Hill camper, Matthew Grayson has decided for his Mitzvah Project he would create livestrong bracelets that say, “Treasure the Moment”, and all proceeds will go to Camp Happy Times. Camp Happy Times is a week long camp held at Tyler Hill created for children who have or have had cancer. These bracelets will be sold along with the projects from Art from the Heart on Visiting Day.
As Tyler Hill campers we want to give other children around the world the same opportunity we have here, at Tyler Hill. Tables will be set up behind the Social Hall during Visiting Day hours. We are so excited to see you on Saturday and we appreciate any donations.
Thank you,
The CITS
