CampMeds is a pre-packing medication program that dispenses all camper medications directly to our camp Health Center.
Tyler Hill families must send ALL DAILY medications to camp through CampMeds. The ONLY exceptions are Accutane, growth hormones, insulin & EpiPens
To register with CampMeds, visit www.campmeds.com for instructions. Note: If your child does not take any DAILY medications, you do not need to register with Mountain Meds.
Our Health Center stocks many commonly used over-the-counter items such as Tylenol, Advil, Benadryl, Robitussin,m Dramamine, Mylanta, Tums, and Metamucil. Therefore, there is no need to have CampMeds dispense typical over-the-counter items.
As a reminder, your child’s physician is required to complete the Over the Counter Medication form in the forms section of your CampInTouch account.
We cannot accept any medications at the bus. Exceptions are made ONLY for growth hormones, Epi-Pens, inhalers, and insulin.
All campers and staff are required to have age-appropriate vaccines, as recommended by New York State. For reference, please click here.New York State requires a full listing of up-to-date physician-documented immunizations (including current tetanus).
Boiler Plate Opener
We are thrilled to welcome campers, families, and staff back to Tyler Hill Camp this summer. We have worked in consultation with the American Camp Association’s experts to prepare a plan of action that will allow us to operate as close to our normal program in a way that will provide as much safety to our campers and staff as possible.
For more information on how we plan to operate, please see our COVID-19 Guidelines below. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. As guidance continues to develop, we will continue to update our guidelines and keep you up informed of any changes.
Topics that Must be Included
Masking Boiler Plate
All campers are required to bring masks to camp. Pennsylvania currently has a mask mandate in place, with potential to be lifted as safer conditions are present.
COVID-19 Picture Releases
We cannot wait to share a fun-filled summer with our camper families. Our staff will work diligently to create a safe and memorable experience for your child. Our goal is to be transparent with you – sharing the joys of camp through photos, videos, or written updates.
This summer, we ask you to be mindful of fluctuating COVID-19 guidelines and increased scrutiny surrounding compliance. We will share images and videos of your child with you throughout the summer. However, these images may be misconstrued by those not affiliated or familiar with camp.
We ask all families to keep images of your child private this summer, recognizing our commitment to your child’s safety and well-being are paramount.
Protect your child and our camp reputation by keeping photos off of social media, unless they are shared by our camp staff on public channels. We appreciate your patience and flexibility during these trying times.
