New Camp Families Enjoy A Day Packed Full of Fun!

This past Saturday, our new campers of 2012 came to camp for a packed day of fun and activities at our Open House.  The parents were greeted by Andy and Wendy and our THC staff did a great job of making them feel right at home!

The event started at 12:00pm with full camp tours for our new campers and their parents to help them get acclimated with THC’s amazing facilities and camp layout.  The tours ended in the dining hall, where our new families were able to wind down and enjoy some delicious food and good conversation.

The day culminated with the girls and boys participating in typical camp games of gaga, basketball, kickball and “Name that tune”.  It was great to see their enthusiasm and we knew it was a awesome day when several of the parents had a hard time trying to get their child to leave camp!

It was amazing to see the excitement on our new camper’s faces and this weekend really put us into full camp mode!  We can’t wait to see the rest of your smiling faces come June 23^rd!  See you all soon!
