Questions for Camper, Sibling Edition: Jillian & Justin
My name is Jillian, I’m 9 years old and I’m in fourth grade. I live in Plainview, New York and I will be a Cadet this summer! When I’m not at camp I like to play basketball, take singing lessons, and I also play the violin. And my name is Justin. I will be a Senior in camp this summer. When I am not at camp I like to hang out with my friends and family, play Xbox, and play the clarinet. I am also very interested in architecture and engineering.
1) What is the number #1 thing you love most about camp?
Jillian: Having so many friends and counselors that are always there for you. And, I also love sleeping under the same roof with all of my best friends every night. It’s like a really long sleepover!
Justin: By far just being around my friends – whether its at canteen or sports or during a meal, its always great to have them around.
2) What was the funniest thing that happened to you at camp?
Jillian: Playing ‘Truth or Dare’ with my bunk – some of the things we found out about each other were the funniest things I have ever heard!
Justin: I honestly can’t just choose one funny moment because there were so many.
3) What is your favorite memory from last summer?
Jillian: My favorite memory from last summer was when I won the STARFISH award for sensitivity. Not only that, but that same night Color War broke out which made that day even better!
Justin: The moment I saw all my best friends and counselors waiting for me on the first day of camp with a huge sign that said “WELCOME BUNK 15”.
4) Describe camp using only 3 words:
Jillian: BEST TIME EVER
Justin: Better than home!!!!!!!!!
5) What are you most looking forward to doing this summer?
Jillian: I am most looking forward to “big sister, little sister.” Last summer, I loved my big sister! She was so nice to me. I can’t wait to see who is my next “sister” is!!!
Justin: Sseeing all my friends and counselors again waiting for me at camp on the first day ready to have another amazing summer!
