Bunks and Living
The cabin or "bunk" is where campers learn to live together as a group. We see bunk living as the core of the camp experience - central to our mission of teaching children the skills of making and keeping friends.
Our staff ratio of four to five counselors for every eight to ten campers provides the highest level of supervision in camping. Campers are taught to make their beds, care for their own belongings and practice good personal hygiene. A complete packing list and Parents Manual make the process of preparing for camp as easy and convenient as possible. All of our bunks are climate-controlled, thus making bearable the hottest days and nights of the summer. The air-conditioning also makes a difference for campers with asthma and allergies.
