Indian Summer 2011

Wednesday, September 28th, 2011

This past weekend our Tyler Hill 10th and 11th grade campers spent the weekend at camp with us for our annual “Indian Summer” weekend.  Although rain was forecasted, the sun was shining all weekend long as we gathered with our campers to reminisce about this past summer, plan ahead for Summer 2012 and just hang out and enjoy each other’s company!

Flag football, a roaring campfire, delicious meals and being surrounded by our summer family were the centerpieces to the weekend.  It was so great to have just one more weekend together after the summer season ended.  We were thrilled to see and to be with all of our old friends — but sad (again!) to say good-bye…

Now the countdown truly begins until the summer of 2012.  Check out these photos of our awesome weekend taken by none other than one of our campers and Indian Summer participant, Jordyn!!!  Thank you Jordyn for taking such FABULOUS photos!!!

Counting Down the Days Yet?

Wednesday, September 21st, 2011

It’s school time again! Like us, you’re probably feeling a little sad that camp is over and school has begun. Back to the books & homework, counting down the days until we can come back to our summer home and all our great friends – both new and old!  So to help you daydream about camp, check out some of these great photo highlights and tune in to our YouTube video channel HERE to relive all your favorite camp memories!

Just like you wrote letters home during the summer, why not write letters to camp?  We’d love to hear from you!  Are you starring in your school’s theater production?  Did you make the lacrosse team?  Send us your updates to be included in a future blog post!  Submissions can be sent to letters@camptlc.com.

Before you know it, camp will be right around the corner again! Hey, it’s only 276 days until camp begins again!

The moment everyone had been waiting for… The buses rolled in to Tyler Hill Camp at 2:30pm this past Saturday! Eleven buses with the remaining east coast campers stopped in front of the dining hall. As the bus doors opened, campers streamed out with so much excitement. Their eyes scanned the cheering crowd to find those familiar faces of their camp friends and former counselors. Freshman & Cadet Hoop Starz Reunion

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

A few drops of rain didn’t stop more than 150 Tyler Hill freshmen and cadet campers from coming out to our New Jersey Hoop Stars reunion last week. Old friends and new friends gathered for food, activities and fun!! From relays to dodge ball, to basketball to gymnastics… These kids packed it in all morning long! The best part was watching all of our campers bond – getting to know one another and counting down the days until the buses roll through the gates at THC again. (more…)
