Band of Tyler Hill Brothers!
We are Zachary, Aiden and Alex, and we live in Armonk, New York. We chose Tyler Hill Camp because our older cousins Rachel and Matthew were campers there and we knew how much they loved the camp. While they are no longer there, we are very excited that our other cousins from Florida, Sydney and Andrew, will be coming to THC for the first time this summer! While we are all very different, what we have in common is our love for vacations, LBI, the Brooklyn Nets, the New York Giants, spending time with friends and family and. . . of course THC!
Zachary (“Berky”) – This upcoming summer will be my 7th summer at THC. I am a freshman in High School where I am on the Debate Team, Academic Team and I intend to play on the tennis team this spring. My favorite sports are tennis, golf and basketball. My favorite color is red, my favorite book is The Kite Runner, my favorite song is Blurred Lines and my favorite movie is Ted. On the weekends, I like to compete in tennis tournaments and hang out with my friends. THC has provided me with an opportunity to become more responsible and to meet some incredible and lifelong friends. At THC, my favorite memories are from the camp trips. I am really looking forward to being in Senior Hall this summer with my friends. I CAN’T WAIT!
Aidan (“Berky Jr.”) – This summer will be my 3rd summer at THC. Finally, I am no longer a Freshman!!! I am in the 4th grade and Alex is my twin brother. .. (But you would never know it!) My favorite sports are tennis, baseball, basketball and lacrosse. My favorite color is green, my favorite book is Swindle, and my favorite song is Wake Me Up. I love to ski and enjoy my annual ski trips with my family. I think that the greatest part of camp is Color War. My best memory is winning Color War 2 years in a row. I have made some really great friends at THC and have had some very cool counselors. I can’t wait until I go back to camp again this summer and for many more summers.
Alex (“Little Berk”) – I have been at THC for the past 2 summers. I am in the 4th grade in Elementary School. My favorite sports are football, basketball and tennis. My favorite color is blue, my favorite books are from the I Survived series, and my favorite song is Holy Grail. I also love to travel. If know you know anything about me, you may have heard me say more than once “I don’t mean to be mean. . . BUT…” I can’t wait until camp. I love rope burn and all of the friends that I have made and my awesome counselors. One of the best times ever at camp was on my 8th birthday. I marked the bagels for the bagel toss in front of the whole camp. THC has taught me to be more accepting of other people and how to live with so many people.
