Stephen Frank: Operations Director
“Franko” as he’s known by everyone at THC, is our Director of Operations. He’s our Utility Man- the one that you go to when you want something done. Wayne County Tournaments, BBQS, Trips to Boston, The Red Barons, and Cooperstown – just ask Franko! In his other life, he is the Dean of Students at I.S.162 in The Bronx, and is a RABID Pittsburgh Pirate fan. He is also the husband of Karen, our Office Manager, as well as the father of Cory, an attorney, and Alyssa Flaum, our Girls’ Head Counselor. His most important role to date, is that of ”Poppa” to Aidan and Cooper Flaum! After Aidan and Cooper and the rest of his family, Franko loves Tyler Hill the best. This Hall of Famer exemplifies what we are really all about; family, commitment, and fun!

This summer Dave will be coaching our Melter Cup and Tyler Hill Invitational Softball teams.
Nick Williams: Aquatics Director
Nick is returning for his fourth year at Tyler Hill and it seems that each summer gets better and better for him and his family. He has always been a native of New York State and currently resides in Dunkirk, which is about thirty miles south of Buffalo. Besides shoveling a lot of snow in the off season, he is a math teacher for grades five through twelve. He spends his evenings and weekends working as an authorized American Red Cross instructor as well.
The experience Nick brings to Tyler Hill is extensive. He worked at the United Swimming Clinics from 1995-2004, starting off as a counselor and eventually became the Assistant Director of a camp that housed 300 swimmers per week for the summer. Upon graduating high school in 1997, he attended the University of Tennessee where he worked with the Men’s Swimming Team. After two years there he became an Assistant Coach which allowed him to work alongside two Olympic Coaches and several Olympic athletes.
Nick always loved the camp atmosphere, so in 1997 he began working at an eight week overnight camp in the Finger Lake Region of New York State. He spent six of his eight years there as the Aquatic Director and Assistant Director of Camp. Most importantly, while at Camp Whitman, he met his wife Allison.
Nick and Allison came to Tyler Hill because they were looking for an atmosphere where they would feel comfortable raising a family. They had their first child last March and can’t wait to bring him to camp this summer. Nick is looking forward to another safe and wonderful summer at the waterfront.
