In 2005, Tyler Hill Camp celebrated its 50th Anniversary! For this momentous occasion, we invited everyone who has ever been a part of our camp family to join us for a day at camp to recapture some of their fondest memories of growing up. As we celebrated the past 50 years with all our old camp friends and former staff, 27 members of the Tyler Hill family received the highest honor in camp and became the first group to be inducted into the Tyler Hill Camp Hall of Fame.
All great institutions honor their legends in different ways. At Tyler Hill, we believe that our history is incredibly rich and our traditions extremely deep. When we look back at the people who have made Tyler Hill what it is today, we realize the importance of recognizing their achievements and contributions. Our Hall of Fame consists of the people who started so many of the traditions that we still honor today. These individuals left a lasting impression not only to their campers and staff, but to the generations of campers who followed.
With the formal induction of the Hall of Fame in 2005, a search committee has been created to help induct additional members to the Hall of Fame each year. With the extensive years of experience and dedication to Tyler Hill, the Hall of Fame committee will help narrow down the nominations. We would like our alumni and current camp family members to submit nominations at any time through our website. We have created a nomination form to help make this process easy and effective.
Please feel free to submit as many nominations as you wish, and please be specific when completing the form. Our Hall of Fame committee will be responsible for choosing the annual inductees based on the number of votes each person receives and the contributions they’ve made to Tyler Hill Camp. We welcome any and all alumni to come to camp each year for the induction ceremony which will be posted on line in July of each year.
